As people all around the globe are dealing with loss from the current pandemic, I think of our neighbours to the south of Canada with great despair as their death numbers rise each day.

As the news outlets remind the world of the devastation that is facing so many, it is imperative that we hold each other up in times of strife.  We are all human beings, and when our friends are down, it is our responsibility to reach down and pull each other back up to stand in unison.  This terrible virus has changed the way that we now live our lives, and even the simple task of sending kids back to school, has to be pondered in a different way than what we are used to.

The only way to get through these troubling times, is to look after each other, and realize the heartbreak that is occurring all around the globe, as loved ones are lost in the aftermath of this virus.

Bringing ourselves together, despite our differences in race, culture, financial standing, or viewpoints is of utmost importance.  We must not forget that boundaries can't exist, if our goal is to look after one another, regardless of politics or election platforms that sway our attention away from what is truly of value to each of us.
