You Own Your Own World - The Escape From Chaos

What does it feel like to walk out of chaos and into peace?



You have the most powerful resource available to you at all times.

As energetic beings, we may feel surrounded by negativity and bombarded by situations that appear to be out of our own control.  The external world is brimming with excitement, torment, and every emotional peril is at its disposal at every instance.

It can seem overbearing when circumstances surround you that are less than ideal, and many people feel like a victim, standing in the crater of existence with nowhere to run.  

There is a place of solitude and escape that resides in each and every one of us, but rarely individuals remember it is there.  We have been conditioned as young children to let go of our imagination, as we grew older, as it no longer served a purpose.  This is completely inaccurate information but we bought into the belief that there comes a time when our imagination was viewed as childish.  As young adults, we didn't seem to escape into the internal world of peace, as we no longer thought it was important to access.

As growing adults, we are beginning to realize that the imagination can serve a greater purpose, as our stress levels are escalating beyond normal capacities.  We turn to television, social media, and other distractions that take us away from our focus on solutions.  Everything you need is within you, and many times people just don't take a moment to hear what their true self is saying to them.  Your imagination can achieve many aspects within your life, but in this moment, I'd like to address it as your position of release from the outside world.

When times are difficult, you can simply retreat into your own consciousness and imagine the most beautiful place that resonates with you.  Everyone's ideal scenario will be different, and only you will be able to allow your mind to blossom into an array of colour, description, and events that allow you release into a place of contentment and peace.

Perhaps you enjoy going to the beach, and in your imagination, you picture a stunning blue sky and waves gently rolling into shore... a seagull glides by, and you tilt your head up, as your hand raises to your brow to shield your eyes from a radiating sun ray. You can hear the water rippling along the rocks among the shoreline's edge, and you spot a sailboat in the distance, as the wind fills its sail with its mighty breeze... you lay down on the sandy beach, and dig your toes into the grains which tickle your feet, and soothe your beating heart... you are here... feeling replenished, and satisfied, that you have found this moment within you... a melody sweeps across the air, and you turn your head to notice a band playing in the distance... relaxing music emanates and you settle back into the sand, as you close your eyes and take a long, deep sigh, while you bask in the comfort of your imagination.
